Travertine Tile Care – Process

We’ve been serving Tucson since 1998. Whether it’s your floors, countertops or showers we are the experts when it comes to tile, grout and natural stone cleaning and sealing. We also diamond-hone and polish travertine tile, marble and limestone.

We first lay down our neutral-pH cleaning detergent to soap and loosen up the dirt that can be embedded in the natural stone tile and the grout.

We have different brush attachments for different types of natural stones.

Here we are using a brush designed for travertine tile, cleaning deep into the tile crevices and fill areas and texture, and also deep into the pores of the grout that can also sometimes be into the fill areas.

We thoroughly scrub the surface without damaging the natural stone. But aggressively enough to give it a good, thorough cleaning.

We then rinse the surface and prep it for sealing. It is important to seal the tile surface and the fill areas along with the grout.

Sealing your natural stone tile provides a barrier that not only protects it from stains, but it will also make routine cleaning and maintenance much easier.
